Meditation Robes
Our meditation robes are made by a fair-wage, democratically operated shop employing low-income individuals manufacturing natural organic cotton clothing in the USA. It is a project of the Grassroots Coalition for Economic and Environmental Justice whose mission is to provide sewing training in good-quality, green-collar jobs for women with barriers to employment. The company strives to promote health and sustainability of our earth, its resources and its creatures.
We currently offer a fleece meditation robe in brown [camel] and black and a light weight robe in a cream hemp/cotton blend. Worn over your clothes, it’s better than a blanket because it won’t slide or shift, and it provides more coverage than a shawl or jacket. Generous cut covers you while sitting in a variety of positions: kneeling, cross-legged or in a chair. Medium is best for women or men under 5’ 10”. Large is 5" longer and best for those under 6’ 2.” Both are easily hemmed.

COTTON/HEMP MEDITATION ROBEFor Summer & Warmer Climates
A lighter weight version of the enormously popular fleece meditation robe, this soft, organic cotton & hemp blend is perfect for summer or warmer climates. Attached hood adds coverage and reduces distractions when pulled up. Recommended care: machine wash in cold water (no chlorine bleach!), fluff dry briefly and then line dry.

Stay warm and comfortable while meditating in this soft, all-natural fleece robe. Attached hood adds warmth and reduces distractions when pulled up. Fleece is available in organic light brown (camel) or black. Recommended care: machine wash in cold water (no chlorine bleach!) and air-dry.
