Donations and
Volunteer Opportunities 
The
mission of the Mindfulness Center for Healthy Living is to
facilitate and encourage mindful living through education,
service, and research.
Our organization could not operate solely on the income
generated by the courses taught. We offer many free
services, including talks, workshops, weekly meditations,
newsletters, and other programs. Additionally, no one is
turned away from any of our programs because of financial
limitations.
To help us
meet our financial obligations, we have several mechanisms
through which others can join us in helping make mindfulness
training and information available to others.
Donations for Center Functioning
Donations
can be made directly to the Center by sending your check to
us made out to the Mindfulness Center for Healthy Living.
These donations are not tax-deductible. These funds will be
utilized to facilitate all of the workings of the Center,
including providing free talks and programs, producing
newsletters, etc.
Scholarship Support
We provide
full and partial scholarships for those needing financial
assistance so that they can participate in the
offerings of the Mindfulness Center for Healthy Living. A
tax-deductible donation for these scholarships may be
made by making a donation to Compassion Works for All,
Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing
educational opportunities for those needing assistance. By
donating through Compassion Works for All, donors
receive a tax deduction, Compassion Works for All
receives a small (1%) administrative fee to cover costs, and
the Mindfulness Center for Healthy Living receives the
donated funds with which to provide scholarships. For
scholarship donations, please make your check payable to
Compassion Works for All, specifying on the check that
the donation is for scholarships for Mindfulness Center
programs.
